So do these old war-horses run ok at over 18000 feet ? Or do you have to make some adjustments to fuel-air mix to get that high ? Are you familiar with "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance" ? Thanks again for your help with the image sizes !
Those 2004 and 2006 models worked perfectly well from Manali (6,000ft) to KhardungLa (18,000+ ft). Nothing to adjust. Only cleaning air filter after getting stucked in the sand in the Moree Plain. About "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance", that's really funny, one of my colleagues just talked about it yesterday !!! Seems to be a kind of biker's Bible ? I'll try to find and read it. Keep you posted ! ;-)
