Hi Arnaud, just wanted to say I am REALLY enjoying your photos, they are wonderful... One question though that I hope maybe you could help with, if you have a second... Loulou helped me make my blog page wider so I could put bigger photos on it, like you are doing here. But when I upload the photos from my PC to Blogger, they get smaller in the upload process, and if I then make them bigger again in the blog post page by dragging a corner of the photo, before publishing, they lose quality and get fuzzy. . . so my question is, do you have any tips on how to keep the quality and size in an image ? Are you uploading yours to blogger directly from a PC ? Or maybe posting them on another website, and then importing them to blogger from another site ? Would love to know how you get such large, crisp images. And they are beautiful...
Hi Owen. To download good quality images, there are 2 options : 1/ Download your pictures from Picasa to your PicasaWeb Album and select 1024 pixels width. 2/ From Blogger, when importing the image, always select "Big" image or something like that. My favourite process is the first one. Then from Picasa Web Album, I copy/paste the link to the photo into Blogger "Modify HTML code sheet". And to define the size, either you select the right size before copying the link, or you manually update it. The size is clearly mentionned in the link as a directory named s144, s288, s400, s800 or s1024 which are self-explicit. Let me know if my explanations are not crystal-clear ! ;-)
